Kids pip parents in closely contended match!Kids keep their winning trend on the trot with another win against the parents. Read and see all about it on the Kids v Parents 2016 page! A great way to end the 2016 season. Here's looking forward to 2017 with nets from January 2017.
U10's friendly against Leyland - 6th April:We played our first ever indoor game at South Ribble Tennis Centre. Rules: Two runs if you hit the side wall / net, Four runs if you hit the back wall and six if you hit it without bouncing.. Debutantes in the team were Jake, Ben and Matthew. Everyone bowled three overs. Fearsome pace from Isaac, Good line and length bowling from Ben and sizzling spin bowling from Daniel. Woody was brill behind the stumps. Fielding was excellent with some good run outs. Benedict used his head in thinking where to hit singles. Matthew smashed the ball so hard it went into the other court! Jake played the shot of the evening that Joe Root would have been proud of.. No one gave their wicket away and there were no silly run outs. Great performance by all and thanks to the Leyland team for a fun evening..
